To provide financial support to deserving students. Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled in an OSH-related degree program and taking courses with at least three credit hours in progress; may be earning an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s degree, or be enrolled in a doctorate program; ASSP membership is not required but preferred, and in most cases, applicants who are ASSP members will receive priority. Selection criteria: Applications will be based on: academic performance such as GPA and curriculum rigor; leadership activity in ASSP and the broader safety community; motivations for entering the field and how the applicant plans on achieving their goals as an OSH professional; letters of recommendation that speak to the above aspects. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; following items: transcript(s): a transcript is required for every level of education applicants have received, as well as a current transcript showing applicants current academic status; enrolled in a graduate or doctorate program, applicants will need to include applicants undergraduate transcript that reflects applicants undergraduate GPA and graduation status; letter(s) of recommendation: at least one current letter of recommendation is required; do not submit letters that are not current.
