To support environmental and engineering geologic studies by students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Qualifications: Applicants must be AEG Student Member; undergraduate geology major in one's sophomore through senior year or graduate student with an environmental or engineering geology emphasis; scholarship should be used for direct tuition for classes and not for tuition and fees required for enrollment or attendance at the educational institution, or for books, supplies, and equipment required for courses of instruction. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on demonstrated ability, scholarship, potential for contributions to the profession, character, and activities in student/professional societies. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; submission requirements: complete background information; respond to ONE of two essay questions; references from two professors; transcripts are NOT required; agreement to provide the AEG Foundation with a written final report, within 1 year of award receipt, that documents and describes the experience received based on the scholarship awarded and demonstrates compliance with grant conditions.
