To provide financial assistance to students who have the potential to become assets to the nation. Qualifications: Applicant must maintain a 3.0 or better non-weighted GPA; applicant's parents, grandparents, husband or wife is (or if deceased, was) a regular or life member (not an associate member) of the 101st Airborne Division Association; applicant shall not be attending nor accepted as a student to the United States Military Academy, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, or the USCG Academy. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on and rating of applicants are eligibility, career objectives, academic record, and insight gained from the letter requesting consideration and letters of recommendation. How to apply: Applicants must submit to required documentation; completed front side of form (personal information, scholarship election, school information); an official transcript of school records Letters of acceptance from a college or university; two letters of recommendation written within the past 6 months. (from other than a relative); a typed letter in which the applicant will briefly discuss the following subjects in addition to others original typed, double-spaced, essay on the indicated topic and submit to online.
