Merit-based scholarships awarded to powerful Latina students who demonstrate commitment to equality and justice for Chicana and Latina women, leadership qualities on behalf of the Latinx community, clarity of direction and goals, ability to overcome personal challenges, and academic achievement. Each year 40-45 scholars receive awards valued at $1500.
